The Sanctuary Golf Club

Calling itself “Sanibel Island’s Premier Lifestyle Club,” The Sanctuary Golf Club sits right within the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge, giving you a unique and picturesque landscape to enjoy as you navigate the course. The course was designed by Arthur Hills and offers over 6,600 yards for you to try to master. After your game, taste the culinary stylings of Chef Derek Bryner in the Clubhouse. Enjoy a casual meal in the Grill Room or treat yourself to an upscale experience in the Veranda. The club also provides plenty of social programs and a full-scale wellness center.

Sanibel Island Golf Club

The Sanibel Island Golf Club offers nearly 6,300 yards of course to discover, all situated within some of the most visually pleasing terrains you’ll find on the island. This course presents a challenge for all skill levels, great for enjoying a game of golf with your family and friends. After you’re done with your game, enjoy a meal at the Malia Island Fusion restaurant right on site. Public tee times are available throughout the day, ensuring you can easily fit a game into the rest of your schedule. 

Rates can vary depending on the year, but you can expect to pay around $150 for 18 holes. If you’re interested in becoming a member of Sanibel Island Golf Club, you can fill out the information form located on their website. Visit Sanibel Island Golf Club at 1100 Par View Drive. 

South Seas Golf Course

If you want to venture out of Sanibel, FL, for a while and travel to the neighboring island of Captiva, you can access the South Seas Golf Course. You’ll find yourself on the South Seas Island Resort premises, but don’t worry; you don’t have to be staying here to enjoy the golf course. This 9-hole course is great for getting a quick game between the other things on your “must-see” list. The course was designed by Chip Powell and offers a stunning view of the Gulf and u unique challenges for any player who visits.

Tee times are available daily from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. It is highly recommended that you make a reservation, which you can do up to seven days in advance. Once your game is done, you’ll have several tempting restaurants, including Crooked Snook, Attitudes Beach Bar, and Harborside Bar and Grill. Visit at 5400 Plantation Road on Captiva Island.

Kelly Greens Golf Club

The Shell Point Golf Club

When you arrive, you’ll find a par 71 championship course designed by architect Gordon Lewis and has been Audubon-certified.
