Sanibel Island Farmer’s Market

Sanibel Island is the perfect place to have a summer vacation with your family.

This hidden gem of Florida provides all the sun and sand you want in a friendly, laid-back atmosphere that holds a little something for everyone. You’ve got access to great day trips, the beaches are gorgeous, the history is interesting, and the food is not to be missed! One of the best and most unique Sanibel Island things to do is the Farmer’s Market, where you can come mingle with the locals and grab some fresh produce.

About the Farmer’s Market

The Sanibel Island Farmer’s Market was established in 2008 and has been drawing both locals and tourists ever since. Visitors come out every week to meet local farmers and artisans and get some incredible ingredients for their weekly meals. With friendly vendors and a casual atmosphere, the Sanibel Island Farmer’s Market is a great place to bring the family for a fun morning trip.

What Can I Find?

There’s a little bit of everything at the Farmer’s Market, so you can find a new favorite no matter what you’re looking for. Of course, there are plenty of vendors with fresh produce, and the quality is often much better than what you’ll find in the grocery store. You can also find other great food like cheese, pasta, seafood, and more. There are tons of delicious baked goods for breakfast or snacks, and the organic products are delicious and sustainable.

Other than the food, you’ll also find live plants and flowers at the Market, making for the perfect souvenir or just something to spruce up your Sanibel vacation rentals. There are even vendors with pet food so your furry friend can benefit from the experience, too!
