Get lost in our 330-acre resort at the tip of tropical Captiva Island. Enjoy great shelling on 2 1/2 miles of pristine beach. Love tennis? We have 18 courts, a tennis pro staff and are among Tennis Magazine's top 50 resorts. Golf? Our 9-hole waterfront course is one of the most scenic in the country, and our 18-hole course on nearby Sanibel Island is a real challenge. Our deep-water yacht harbor can dock boats up to 120 feet, and the bayside marina houses smaller craft, plus powerboat rentals and fishing, shelling and boat excursions. South Seas is also home to the Steve Colgate Offshore Sailing School, not to mention manatees, dolphin, great blue herons, loggerhead turtles, cormorants and a full-time resort naturalist to help guests appreciate and learn about this tropical paradise.

2009/2010 Weekly Rates Experience a wide variety of accommodations at South Seas Resort. Our seasonal rate ranges reflect the opportunity to choose the type of accommodations that best suit your needs. We offer everything from spacious hotel rooms to one-, two- and three-bedroom accommodations. We also offer a selection of private homes, both on property and just outside the resort on Captiva Island. Apart from accommodation type, rate ranges reflect location and view. Locations are available with spectacular views of the Gulf, gardens, marina or golf course and convenient to the beach, marina, restaurants and shopping.

- These rates do not include South Seas Plantation Amenities (see below) - Rates subject to availability and to change without notice - Nightly rates based on 2 adults or 4 adults; two-bedroom units and private homes based on 6 or more occupants - Deposit and cancellation policies apply on all confirmed reservations - Extra person charge is applicable - State and local taxes not included - Check-in time after 4 p.m.; check-out prior to 11 a.m. - Pets are not permitted - Limited parking does not allow space for motor homes, campers, motorcycles and recreation vehicles - Storage available for boats/boat trailers for a fee The optional amenities card may be purchased for an additional $75.00 per person per day. A minimum of 3 days must be purchased for the card. Children are a different rate. The amenities charge includes: - Use of the fitness room - Use of beach services - On-property transportation on open-air trolleys - Use of resort restaurants and snack bars and tiki bars. - Ability to make purchases at on-site retail stores - Access to resort amenities such as golf & boating lessons & rentals.
